Definition of Criss cross Handball

The criss cross is a trick performed by attacking players that is regularly used as an exercise in its own right as part of training.
Useful for dexterity, team spirit and cohesion, this technique is one of the great classics of handball.

Criss cross objective for handball

The aim of criss cross in handball is simply to move up the court towards the opponents’ goal, while putting some movement into the exchanges to avoid having the ball taken away from you.
By occupying a large part of the court, the players make short, dynamic passes while progressing quickly.

Putting the Criss cross technique into practice

On the starting line, this figure requires three players.
It is the one in the middle who initiates the movement, passing the ball to one of his teammates, who in turn advances to the middle, while that the first player goes from behind, to the side left free.
The second player in turn passes the ball to the third, reproducing the same movement on the other side, and so on.
